Meat Sauce for N.Y. System Wieners
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
Brown beef with onion. Add everything but water. Bring to a simmer, add water, then simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Serve over wieners in a bun.
Enough for 2 pounds of hot wieners.
